On June 24, two devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela, among the strongest in over a century. Buildings collapsed along the coast of La Guaira and into Caracas. Hundreds have died. Thousands are still missing. And communities on the ground are waiting for help that has to come from us.

Our team is coordinating with three organizations doing rapid response work right now from Central Florida. Here is how you can help.

For all events, drop-off locations, hours, and donation links through July, visit us here 👇

* We understand our newsletter serves leaders all over the US. The organizations below are located in Central Florida, where we call home, you can also help from wherever you are! Keep scrolling, we have national grant opportunities due in July!

This team just packed 85,000 food portions in a single day, nearly double what they normally do. They have pallets of food and medicine ready to ship, but every box costs $28 to send. That is the bottleneck. Financial donations go directly toward getting those boxes to La Guaira. If you know a logistics company that can move a container to Venezuela, that call could change everything.

Alianza Center is collecting physical donations and loading them directly onto Willow Foundation trucks when they come through Central Florida. Those trucks head to Miami, where supplies are put on planes to Venezuela. They need medicine, hygiene products, food, baby items, diapers, blankets, flashlights, and rescue gear. Please no clothing. Drop off: Monday to Friday 12 to 7 PM, Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.

If you are north of Orlando, this is your closest option. Lorena Camacho and her team are collecting medicine, hygiene products, and non-perishable food. Everything goes directly to Iglesia Catedral Renacer in Caracas. This is a community-led effort in partnership with Iglesia Redimidos por Dios Orlando.

Drop off: 200 E Commercial St Ste 5, Sanford FL 32771. Monday to Friday 12 to 7 PM, Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.

Today they hosted an emotional support gathering for anyone carrying the weight of this disaster. Facilitated by Mónica Vargas.

Hosted by Women's Leadership Impact Initiative, Hispanic Family Counseling Inc, Psique Poder, Renacer Foundation, and Fundación Yetser. Follow them for more events!

In this episode, we sit down with Brittney Frazier, a nonprofit leadership expert and program officer at Allegany Franciscan Ministries, to talk about why leader wellbeing is one of the most overlooked drivers of organizational health and community impact.

Guest Podcast Episode on Soy Hola Wealth!

Audit, clean, and prep. Don’t force heavy fundraising campaigns when engagement is historically low. Instead, use July to clean up your donor database, update your website, and prep your Q3 marketing materials. When the busy fall season hits, you’ll be three steps ahead while everyone else is scrambling to catch up.

We are on a journey to help fundraise $1M for grassroots organizations.

What’s next is almost here.

On July 16th at 1PM ET, beehiiv is going live with a look at the future of publishing, audience growth, and digital business.

What started as a newsletter platform has evolved into something much bigger: a place where creators and brands can grow, monetize, and own their audiences without stitching together half the internet to make it work.

The next chapter starts live at the Summer Release Event
